Show what? Being sucked dry? No, but the victioms look like mummies as far as I can remember. For Sadako they are just dead.

Sorry, I meant show her coming out of a reflective surface. I think they only ever show her coming out of a TV?

In the book they actually leave it fairly ambiguous whether or not she manifests at all.

Yes they only show the TV. Once at the very end. But in the beginning several deaths are mentioned regarding the video tape. Some people died far from a TV but all had a reflective surface near them. So the TV is hinted to be the primary method of manifestation, but other ways are substituted to make sure everyone reaches the 7 day DEADline. Never read the books, but wouldn't mind to get my hands on them.

How about an event that requires you to be out at night in the Black Shroud, but avoid being killed by a giant, bald, undead Roegadyn in an Ash Mask who can one shot you dead. You can call him Mason Hoorvees!

OMG that'd would be awesome. And it'd wouldn't be a fate but an enemy mob that has no reset spawn unless you make it into a town or another instance. Give em a giant looking Machete Axe since Edda took the scythe weapon (Grrr...). That would be the best thing ever. Also to make it fair players would be warned that'd Mason Hoorvees will stalk them at night if they activate the quest. Or they could make em a Odin like quest but not a fate in any way so we can get his costume if we defeat em or survive his stalking X)
