Oh, so I can't expect high level play style in EXPERT roulette? Oh EXCUSE me, I'm sorry, I thought this was Expert Roulette. Why don't we pull 2 mobs at a time, and hold LB the entire run until the last 5% of the last boss.

All of these show that the tank has been playing for way too long today and needs a break. Whenever this boss comes up, the party has had no problem taking a few ticks and slap a moogle. Heck after all those quests I'll take any chance to pimp slap a moogle for now. Still, I can't blame just the tank we're all guilty of playing a bit too long..upset over small things. Miss a F.A.T.E. then yell at a squirrel.
You got a Tank who wanted to do the bare minimum just to get out. I normally heal, takes 0 effort for me to turn around and throw an Aero to hit a moogle real quick, one less thing a DPS has to do and can get back to slapping the boss. I am sorry you ran into this situation, from what it sounds it isn't your fault and I don't think you'll experience this a majority of the time. You will get some nasty people out there though, just have to deal with it. Let them express their hatred through the internet because they can't anywhere else.
It's true if you should be concerned only if you believe the content is in danger of not being finished due to the actions of others. That's what you get though for certain situations. If you are ignoring helping with the group mob pulls, ignoring mechanics that could make / break the run. It's not cut and dry, and there are exceptions to every rule. Say, if you parse and see they aren't doing the DPS they should. In that persons mind, low DPS makes a fight go on longer that could result in the fight going sour for some reason..lets say lag with a tank buster and a few AoE's. Or if you are ignoring helping with getting the moogles out of the circles, they spawn. Either scenario, and all the others that I didn't mention, there's the possibility you pizza when you should have French fried and you're gunna have a bad time.
I never expect high level of play in expert roulette since it is only utilizing the easiest of dungeons to give players a bonus in tomes.
What I do disapprove of is stuff that was briefly touched on like neglecting mechanics, very toxic attitude, or ilvl buffing. You hit any of these than you pretty much fall in the category of "differing play styles" which are an acceptable reason to kick a player for harassment.
Moral of the story is the tank should have helped. Someone mentioned it here before but its not the dps job to remove the moogles, its the tanks/healers. If they are lazy and dont want to do it then they need to be reminded they can do something besides just tanking and healing. My raid tier dps is better used burning the boss then dealing with a simple push mechanic.
Well I think many people forget that the true level of our characters doesn't stop at 60. Its not even much of a factor.
Our REAL levels, truly, are our ilvls. There are various instances where gear makes a somewhat big difference in 50 dungeons, between 50-60 dungeons, and yes even in 60 dungeons. Granted there is some room for skill to make that factor, but also a fair portion is the gear itself. I don't expect a fresh 60 with (what is it 180?) gear that just hit the requirement to preform the same feats as someone in 240 gear.
Granted there are examples that don't have to do with what I just mentioned...but please if you as a player haven't already, before getting upset at say, a tank not being able to pull an insane number of monsters...check the tanks gear...THEN check the healers gear. Heck even check the DPS gear because thats a fair factor as well.
I always like to tank but drama queens comes in all roles. I had a healer who had issues healing me and when I died, he had the galls to curse me out cause we wiped once on the regular enemies in Sohr Kai. I have to say I hate arguing with people who think that hiccups cant happen on a routine dungeon. it happens don't bitch about it, just keep going and that's it.
This isn't a journal entry or anything for that matter; It's just that the way you phrased it made it sound like gear would be the only issue here, which it isn't. People have expectations of what their party can do, and judging them based on their gear isn't really the best way to tell since you could have someone who decides to stop what they're doing mid-fight and not do anything for the rest of the fight(or until your party's dead) just because mechanics weren't done perfectly.
