Locking Emote behind Potentially $100 Statue

Curse them! My OCD compels me to collect all the things! My poor wallet :(

I would love to see them keep pushing the expense of real life transactions just to see how many people are willing to buy their products for in game bonuses :D
This is the most expensive so far I think?

I'll gladly rail against the Mogstation if/until it's ever removed, but I don't actually care about them tying emotes or minions in with real-life physical item purchases. As others have said, if you're buying it just for the silly emote then you may want to re-evaluate your concept of value = money. The $125 value is in the statue itself, though if it's anything like the Midgarsormr statue from the HW CE I'll be giving this one a hard pass.

I get more pissed off because SE deliberately makes this stuff in tiny quantities so they sell out fast and encourage people to impulse buy before "they go away".

If some controverse ingame changes could rise as much community attention as 1 emote...

*sigh* Well that sadly too expensive right now as a student and if the codes are limited again than goodbye nice emote. If they put all those minions and other ingame items behind RL goods couldn't they at least make them not limited? I would not buy a statue of that price for a simple emote but it would be nice that if someone has the money later they would still get the emote with it...Not only that but anyone that starts the game later will never get the chance to receive any of those limited ingame items. Making them part of every item without a end date would still make them rare, because not everyone would buy something like this.

I wanted to buy the music from the store but after seeing that I cant get the minions anymore I wont purchase them. Would not buy them only for minions but knowing that I now get less for my money because I started to play later makes me feel kinda sad so wont spend any money on them...

I mean I don't necessarily want them in the mog station but at least could you not just put them back as codes on the items? That should cost you nothing and would make a lot of people (imo) happy. (As a minion collector it just makes me sad U_U) But if you dont want more money well than I will keep mine.

Then people would complain about not getting a replica statue for their house. This is just like veteran rewards; a bonus.

Oh cool, "SE makes odin statue mount with a zantetzuken emote" turned into "Locking emote behind paywall." Seriously though, this isn't new, every soundtrack, art book, plush etc. has come with an exclusive minion, this one gets an exclusive emote because it is a bit pricier. It isn't even out yet, if you want it so badly then buy it.

Only the rich and wealthy can enjoy nice things in life. If anything, the emote is just bragging rights of that. Aka: They're giving players something to make them feel like snowflakes, but through the bragging rights of wealth.
