As stupid it may sound, I'd like the next easter event have you on a egg hunt, you're given a radar and the event works just like finding aether currents. Maybe the Halloween event involving Palace of the Dead (since the other creepy dungeons can't be accessed by new level 17 players)
Also I dunno, I think some event should have more involvement in the community. The ladies day one did affect whatever the songbirds' dialogues and increase in topics to talk about with them because of the server's votes. Although I ask for something more community-involving than that.
Just as long as they stop forcing FATEs on their events and event drops with low RNG like in the Yokai Watch event (which is NOT fun) then I'm fine with it...

I agree a whole lot! More fun and enjoyable events please. IMHO, events really need to be limited to something new in terms of fates or quests and either have RNG or a massive number of whatever currency is needed, not both. When it's the same old fates, with a low RNG percentage for some of the drops and you need a good lot of them, it just makes it an utter pain in the butt.

Aaand here we go, Yo-Kai hasn't even ended and we are already getting 2nd FATE farm event!

Hopefully the events are going to be compatible and people can farm legendary medals while doing Moonfire FATEs.

Many many MANY events have been fate based including Yo-kai, so i agree with you OP.
I am sure some love fates, but dear god enough of them already.
I hope the Moonfaire fates are as painless as previous years, not atma-like like Yo-kai, people will unsub for sure, lol

I'd like to see them re-purpose some dungeons temporarily like WoW did (does?) with the Headless Horseman Halloween event. They also have a bunch of other stuff for people to do. Either way, I remember their events being more exciting than FATEs, which are probably the most boring form of content in FFXIV (Odin and other special FATEs excepted).

that ranger event might actually require a few hours of farming since it has a lot of rewards.
