Didn't realize the OP didn't do any actual research. Have fun with this one. /exit

If you're worried about the game's lifespan, perhaps you should be arguing for actual content, rather than arguing for grind.
There actually was (somewhat) of a petition for job's having their own EXP bar. It was a thread I started about a week or so ago:

It sounds like you'd be in favor of the concept I proposed but as you can see by the votes it's a very divided topic. The overall percentage of people against the idea is greater than the percentage of people for it. To be honest, even though I made the topic myself, after debating it with the opposition they do have valid points.
If you're interested take a look through that thread, there is a lot of good arguments for both sides in there. I think the root of it is how you define "Job". If you look at "Jobs" as an extension built on top of the classes then it makes sense for them to have their own EXP. But as many people reminded me, XIV uses the term "Job" merely as an implied role of a specific class. By that definition then it makes sense for them to not have additional EXP attached to them. After all, if later down the road GLA gets a PLD Job AND a DD Job then it would be rather unfair to make said GLA redo all his/her leveling again.
Pretty much this.
But I'll add that leveling up isn't nearly as fast as people seem to exaggerate. I can't understand why people complain about it. If you want to level something up again level up another class. Leveling up a job which has most of the main class's skills already would be redundant.
