Cid's outfit is an answer to the female exclusive Minfilia outfit, so to me these outfits should stay gender-locked out of fairness (unless they can find a way to make both unisex).

Can't you trade Snow's gear for Lightning's gear and vice versa at the Calamity Salvager? Seems to me this would fall under 'gear that have equivalent male/female sets'. Kinda like swimsuits.

I don't really see why people want's to wear lighting outfit for their males or snow for females. I get it everyone wants to wear some cool npc gear, but I think it's just soo much resources spent into this that they kinda have to look away from the things that really matters. To me unisex gear is cool but do I really want it that bad they should/can ignore more importent things? Not really, same as I don't feel like wearing snow gear, but I know others do, which is completely fine.
