My personal theory is that of the two, the AC outfit fits better with the eorzea aesthetic, having a cloak and being more gothic. The original is more modern (and not in the garlean way).

I vote yes to getting FF10 & 10-2 stuff (even if its just the 2 main characters, Yuna & Tidus) cause I want her hand gun from FF10-2 for MCH, I just want a hand gun & not all these long rifle flintlocks that look like a pain to hold one handed (MCH's Eso looks at lest like a sawed-off dubble barrel shotgun so I'm using that for now), but damn it SE change MCH's casting animation no more hand waving
I could get behind Yuna being a reward or MGP item but I agree, stop asking for cash shop. Granted I have yet to even hit my Cloud Vet reward, but Yuna's outfit from 10 seems it could fit on both genders, perhaps males would need a sight tweek to fit but I wouldn't say no to seeing it.
We're paying for a cash shop because we're paying the same price, and for some poeple even less, for MMOs 10 years ago, even though FFXIV has much higher graphical fidelity. More money has to come from somewhere.
More importantly, the cash shop incentivizes them to actually make new stuff. WoW's been giving out mostly the same crap from events since their inception. When SE can put old stuff in the cash shop to sell us, it gives them more of a reason to create new event rewards.
YES for the outfit (and maybe others from FF10-2, loved the lady luck outfits *.*)
NO to the Cashop, forget that word, it's a bad bad one
Vet reward for both them.
I'm sorry, but I dont agree with this at all. The appeal of subscription based mmo's (especially verses the free to play mmo's) is that you pay a monthly sub, and you get access to EVERYTHING IN THE GAME. Making people pay for the items (as optional as they are) goes against that very principle. I'm paying $15 a month to have access to this game. thats $180 a year, to have access to a game.
Think about that. If you count only ten players paying the $15 a month price for a sub, thats almost two thousand dollars ($1,800). For ten players. Now, think about how many players there ACTUALLY ARE. Lets say theres roughly one million active subscriptions. if they were all paying the $15 a month (I know many players pay less) thats one hundred and eighty million dollars ($180,000,000) a year, off of subscription fees alone.
Now, you tell me that someone paying $8 for a costume, and $10 for a phantasia bottle is REALLY enough extra money to "incentivize" them to make more content. Thats freaking pocket change.
The cash shop is not needed, and honestly we need to stop supporting it. Our sub is enough to warrant us access to everything in the game.
