The Lightning event wasn't really a seasonal event per se, though. It was originally for the release of XIII (once for the Japanese release and once for the NA release, I think?) and was recycled later as a seasonal event due to popular demand.Quote:

Why on Eorzea would there be a XII event when it's a PS2 release? It would be the single most random thing ever. What would happen in XII from XIV? You can't really release patches on the PS2 can you?
