Don't they pronounce it 'Tie-duss' in FFX though? In the English voiced version that is.

That's where it gets a bit flakey really.. Not only are there multiple versions of the legend/myth, there was also an actual historic King Midas ;)

Not to mention that Alexander being traditionally holy aspected could also allow the 3rd tier to reference the Holy Spirit, and thus the Trinity

Ah right.. It HAS been a while since I played it (like, when it first came out) .. I did get the HD remake for the Vita, but haven't played it yet ;)
