Now if it played the desert theme from super Mario 3 as bgm, I've died and gone to Hydaelyn.

It is sad as i do not ever want to leave Adders, but we always get the uglier gear :(

I'd assume it to be the new beast tribe mount. Wasn't it mentioned in the live letter something about moogle beast tribe quests coming next major patch? And a floating dandelion fluff ball seems... about right for them ;p (I think said picture was also shown during the live letter, during the discussion about the new beast tribe quests.)

Adder's outfit doesn't look that bad, but its not particularly great either, especially in comparison to what the Flames and Maelstrom get.

IMO ul'dahs looks the best because reminds me of raubahn

It all looks very Ishgard inspired which makes sense given the expansion but I'm not a big fan of that particular aesthetic. The Ul'dah one is the only one I sort of like for the reason Mixae mentioned.
