A whole job devoted to speeding things up and slowing things down sounds pretty boring. Besides, Thaumaturges can cast Slow, there are many Stun-like (i.e. Stop) abilities in the game already, and development wants to avoid making Haste the go-to buff like it was in FFXI.
Look to Black Mages for your pointy hat goodness. ;) -

I don't get why you titled this screw bard. Are you suggesting that archer should get the time mage job? That makes very little sense. I would like to see time mage put in but its a completely different class/job than bard, we can have both.

but SE should go all out on FFXIV by add tons of jobs they already in the series slowly over time to keep them balenced as much as possible when they release it. -

Yes. Give FFXIV more strategic attacks and magics that counts!!
Give us classic time stuff.
But I would also love to see more elemental strategic too. Today we don't have to care at all if the nmy is fire or ice. It's the same. Fix it! -
