Even the tank shoes have stilettos........

And? its a fantasy game...
How many of the sets have stilettos, of all the tank sets in the game... if you want a practical set, pick up a a base steel crafted set and stick with that for glamour.
But seriously, he made reference to the Shiva set. "Like omg! the Shiva set looks a bit like Shiva! How terrible!"
Haven't really done any of the new content. The armor is 'ok' but nothing really exciting or cool looking.
So its pretty much being skipped until they release new cool looking armor, its way too flamboyant as he says. Tanks should of got "titan" armor, would of been amazing if it looked like this:

Shiva set looks nothing like Shiva though, they should of really made the helmet like a wearable hairstyle (extremely long.) that would of been BA.
Totally not fashionable, SE. Like, I can't even. Does your company even know what proper dragon slaying attire is? *insert relevant emojis here*
That fem gear looks amazing. I'm tired of tank gear looking mostly like tin cans or shapeless piles of leather and chains (WAR eso gear...). And I'm pretty sure a lot of guys are tired of thigh highs and dresses on their healers/casters (AST and SMN). Unisex gear sucks because not only does it look dumb on one or sometimes both genders, but also because it usually follows the old stereotype that tanks are guys and healers are girls. Not in the OP's case I guess but I understand his frustration of having to wear gear that's clearly designed for the other gender.
Fourbestintoner, I agree! The platekinis we have are not very pretty. I'd like something elvish styled. But obviously make skimpy plate an option for both genders, with separate designs and not just a bikini slapped on a male.
I think a lot of the people in this thread miss the point. Prisms are different per server. 50k gil for various pieces of prisms and then some, adding up over 100k per time to redo gear...a nuisance.
If you compare to WoW (fantasy game) , there are distinguished differences between male / female sets, and always leaning more towards a more masculine build. There isn't much option for those who wish to have a fully clothed armor look. Fantasy can be tasteful / sleek / sexy / appealing without the need to have an enlarged bust for the male sets.
it might help if we could see which set or sets you are refering to. i wanna say you are talking about the new primal ifrit set, but i havent seen it worn yet, and i might not be able to see, what you mean if i try it on since I'm a lala and my proportions are off, in a cute way, lol. personally want more casual gear, that isnt overy designed or always, ALWAYS, has an ugly belt attached.
