What you're suggesting is we take everything that makes an mmo a mmo and turn it single player.

I don't get the impression that they're ignoring the issues - I think it's genuinely a matter of them having to work with limited funds and a small team of developers that are likely overworked.

Someone made a really nice flowchart of all the MMOs out there and what kind of storage space they all had. This one has pretty much more storage space than any of them, gear wise, crafting material-wise, etc.... I'm sure if anyone wanted to find it they could on google images... I don't think I need to find it again since this thread has been posted so many times that someone actually made a pretty darn nice flowchart about this topic...

Can anyone name a MMO that has unlimited character storage space? Yes I know this MMO lets you play all the jobs and therefore you have more gear... That problem was solved by the armory system.... I have like every job leveled (basically everything 60 and like 3 left at 50+) and I do just fine with armory system and all my gear is in there except maybe 3 weapons I can't use yet. I don't even store any armor anywhere on my retainer except for glamour...(I have a retainer just for glamour and the other one is crafting stuff) I don't know what people store in this game that needs more than two retainers. Statistics I have seen posted by the devs says that most of you don't craft much so it's not crafting materials probably...lol If you have a retainer full of animal skins and hard leather circles... vendor that stuff or use it lol...

Don't forget the butt slider.

It's staggering to think of how much more FFXIV would be capable of if the talking heads up above yoshi-P weren't redirecting FFXIV's money towards overhyped projects headed by the same people that ran this franchise into the ground in the first place.

Should add to the list of storage issues:

- Additional FC chest pages.

Seriously, since they added the airships we have an entire page devoted to it, and its getting to the point where I have to store FC stuff on my retainers.

Would help a lot if we get a free retainer per expansion(depending on how much stuff gets pushed around) - another thing I'd like to suggest is...

Have a retainer just be the glamour "book" as such. They would be an artist and would draw all the gear you give them - but would destroy it in the process as such. You could then request a recreation of said item to use for glamour. That way it would be on the retainer system and only pulled when needed - not always loaded.

Yes please to more FC storage space; the FC chest is far too small as it is. A third free retainer for everyone would be very much appreciated, too.
