With this change, yes. Previously, no. Speaking only from speed running dungeons. No idea on Alexander.

not bad not bad, simple yet effective without really changing anything or making it an op buff set; this is what i like to see
reduced emnity along with stronger mp regen just give me more excuse to throw up all my HoTs and then grav spam till the cows come home
AST's enmity issues have been well known and documented since Heavensward. Initially it wasn't a big problem because of their lower potency heals, but when those got raised to WHM levels it magnified the issue. Not my fault if this is news to you, or the person who felt it wasn't some pressing issue to address.
For what it's worth, AST hate issues was a very hot topic on the JP healer sub-forums (well, on the AST thread because they tend to keep everything job related in a single thread instead of making one for every thought that crosses their mind). I've seen it mentionned much more than on the EN sub-forums.
You don't need to look any further if you need a reason why it's been adjusted.
It looks like a lot, but that's a maximum of three extra tics. I think one more tic, if extended? But that buff (forget its name at the moment) is on a long cooldown.
It definitely helps alleviate issues for the most MP-starved healer, but it hardly tips the scales. You still have Assize and Freecure. No need to feel threatened.
I play all three healers. I love all three healers. In no way do I feel my WHM or SCH is now suddenly "threatened" because of the change to LA.
WHM has Assize (approximately 1,500 MP every 90 seconds, and only going to go up as gear level goes up), Shroud, Freecure procs, Overcure procs, Medica procs and still has more MP free emergency skills.
SCH has permanent free fairy heals, Aetherflow, Energy Drain and many skills that only use stacks (MP free) such as Lustrate and Indom.
The change to LA is a very welcome one to AST. I believe it will help with AST's who want to go Nocturnal, now they have a better way to regain MP. I also believe it will help them to be able to DPS more, where before, DPSing would make you go OOM very quickly.
Hmmm my problem is redraw may help with not drawing the same card... But who to say it wont do this?
Draw > spire > redraw > ewer
Draw > spear > redraw > bole
Draw > ewer > redraw > spire
We all know we fishing for Arrow, balance cards
Spear is only good for mech, bard, ninja, party(prepull) or self if ur using cooldowns etc
Bole.. Yeah cool a throw on tank forget card xD
I think it be awsome if they gave the cards more diversity rather then this
ewer/spire = mostly royal road folder or thrown for resource management
Bole = tanks enough said
Spear = mech /bard /ninja/ drg /self or aoe prepull
Balance = all dps (fishing card)
Arrow = blm (infinite resource + scales insane with speed)
So please focus the cards theb ast be awsome :D
Didn't feel threatened at all. It's a nice change but one that I felt was unnecessary in terms of MP management. Like I said earlier, if it was for enmity management, I could see why they did it.
Many people keep bringing up Assize without realizing that the vast majority of the AST healing toolkit costs 10% less MP to use compared to their WHM counterpart. It's a small nuance that gets lost in the discussion when comparing MP tools. Consider it an MP passive directly on the AST healing kit.
