They are telling them to get a credit from their internet provider for the down time since they lost play time, this has nothing to do with SE.

I (thankfully) haven't had any outstanding issues with the game enough to contact customer support, but I've often heard that they aren't very helpful with a lot of account related problems (one that comes to mind is someone getting hacked and losing their job soul stones and they won't restore it).
Though I feel that CS reports can/should be handled individually rather than using blanket statements and generic responses. My best examples can be with blizzard support where they've treated my issues as a specific thing and helped addressed it (such as giving my friend one day of game time to trade their game tokens for game time, or freezing subscription time due to hardware issues). Even if they truly can't help with those problems, it would at least feel like they know what your problem was and saw it as it's own thing, rather as another report.
Don't expect something to happen because you got the same favour before from a different company. They have absolutely no obligation to give you extra sub time because YOUR network had issues. How often do you think they get requests like that from people trying to scam sub time? I can tell you they most likely get a lot. They have no way to see if your story is true and yet they bothered to give you a reply that probably isn't half as bad if you look at it from a different angle than the "I did not get what I want" one.
The person in CS might have asked a superior and probably got a "no" so you got the "no" template. WoW is old and dying, they will do more of an effort to keep their customers. I doubt this game is struggling like that right now.
(on a side note: You seem to be rather new to the game, right? If you are, don't be surprised they said no. Your chances will be higher the longer you have been subbed and the more stuff/services you purchased on the mog station.)
My problem it's worst. I forgot the security question and password of my other account. I talked to the support and no answer until now.
