Timeworn maps and Anima relic?

i recieved an ore and two shells from wyvernskin maps so they both drop for either map.

2 maps a day everyday since patch. 10 ores 0 shells with all ores from Dragonskin (5 ores were from the first week, took another 3 weeks to get 5 more).

Bumping this for a question, do you have to be on the quest, or have completed that relic quest for the shells/ore to start dropping from the maps, or have they just been added default to the loot list?
