they should have hotfixed that instead of making us wait for the patch.

Think about it, when people are camping those FATEs. Theyre pretty much doing nothing. Their not going to come back and try later, because of human nature and the thought that it may pop any moment. Their not going to do the rest of their beast trive quests either, because other people WILL camp it and they will NOT wait.

No one is holding a gun to your head honestly. Stop expecting things to be buffed & nerfed at your will or desire. Not gonna happen.

"At your desire"? That's a bit rich considering "What a Boar" FATE has been around since 2.1 and shortly after its introduction people began to ask for it to spawn more frequently. They claimed they increased the spawn rate but either it was never done or it has regressed back to what it was.

The way I combat this is by doing the Fate whenever it pops while I'm doing something else in the area and hold on to the item drop until I need them. There was a point where I had them in double digits. I never had to wait. Just 2 quests plus my token and I was done. It does suck to wait, but this method had saved me the head ache.

Only if you have things to do in the immediate area. As in, killing mobs at the FATE site.

I was crafting *at the site* of "What a Boar", it popped & by the time I pressed SMN & "Level Sync" I got *one* book smack in. It lasted between 20 & 30 seconds. There were 3 people at the FATE besides myself but they were tanks, two with birds.

Once I was in Moonspore Grove when it popped. By the time I got to the Grove entrance it was over, maybe 15s that time.

I've also been standing at the FATE site as SCH with 2-3 others. Synched & got 3-4 hits before it was dead. No item reward.

"Magitek Menace" pops more frequently but is slow to kill as a solo healer; if you get there alone (no bird) with less than around 9min remaining you may struggle, even when book smacking.

TL;DR The FATEs need sorting, or removing, for beast quests.

How are they increasing the spawn rate? they responded to this before by saying there can only be a certain number of fates going at once so to go finish some of the current ones to make it spawn faster. Well I did that and everyone else just kills it before I can get back, so please change this entirely, no fates tied to any dailies, ever.

You people are freakin lazy. The secret to getting fates to spawn "faster" is doing the other fates in the zone. Sure there have been times when I've waited just like the rest of ya. There have been times when I've went off doing fates to make one spawn quicker yet when I'm 1/2way through a fate the one I need spawns and I'm too far away. SE just needs to put a destination spot on the ground where a fate spawns. Players click the spot do the fate get the item. It's really that simple. Yet I don't think the Asians complain all that much because to me they are more about doing the fates to get the one they want to spawn faster then actually waiting for players to get back to the one everyone is waiting on and then do it like a A-S rank mob.

The thing about doing other fates is by the time it spawns people camping it already finished it before you even got half way back to it.

AFAIK the amaljaa and sylphs ones are much slower because those zones are larger and have more fates, so the chance of it being the beast one each time one spawns is smaller. Where as Outer LN is much smaller, has much fewer fates, so the beast ones cycle through much quicker.

They should fix it you really can't do anything, except stand and wait.
Although you can run round and clear other fates, as above said, good luck getting back to it when it finally does pop and others camping it tear it down in <30 seconds.
You can't craft while you wait, as changing back and having no moves means no credit.
You can't even play cards with someone else stuck there
