house resets

My advice is to login on the 25th not expecting a house plot to be open (or already scooped up by others) that way your not disappointed upon logging in.

You can see which houses are claimed when zoning in from outside or the town aethernet when you select a ward, so it won't be that hard to spot the empty ones.

Based on the reddit post, it's very possible that they don't come open until around 4am est the day after Christmas. That's 45 days + 25 hours after servers came up, and there have been about 25 hours of all worlds maintenance since then.

We've had 2 1/2 hours of maint since then, so possibly add 2 1/2 hours or more to that.

I'm betting that the time you were given didn't include any of the maintenance from the timer start until you got the email, otherwise the timer started almost 2 days before the servers came up. There was over 22 hours of all worlds maintenance before your email (plus the day long patch maintenance).

It's beyond belief that they will not expand the housing wards to accommodate more houses. It's very unfair to lock so many players out of housing because they can't be bothered to expand it.

They actually just announced on the Live Letter that there will be more housing wards added in 3.2, with an Ishgard neighbourhood sometime after 3.3.
