It isn't. We only do that particular emote in certain cutscenes. The male Miqo'te /shocked emote is looks like this:

The first time they used that emote in a cutscene was the first Heavensturn quest (the year of the horse) when you run in to Haurchefant in his special getup (along with his chocobo). I really wish they would add seasonal event scenes to the journal, because it was hilarious. My guy looked so freaked out in that pose glancing between Haurchefant and his chicken.

It's from the Hildibrand quest line. It's around the point where you meet Hildi's mother.

It's a cutscene-only one.
SQUEENIX UNLOCK IT PLEASE.

There are a lot of emotes that are inexplicably cutscene-only. I also want the "explaining things" emote you see now and again (at least for female miqo it's very animated with the hands, and pops up when someone asked what happened and the WoL fills them in)

I've noticed two versions of that, one short, one-handed, the other one more or less persistent, and with lots of gesturing.

But yeah, those would be nice to have.

If it were possible, I'd very much like a curtsy emote.
