As White As Snow - A WHM Guide

Shroud and Assize are your best friend when DPSing as a WHM. I use them on CD personally. Usually there is a lull before boss pulls that allows you to regenerate enough MP.

Aero is technically a DPS loss as for as raw numbers are concerned. I still use it a fair amount when Fluid Aura and/or Assize are up so I can weave spells, and while moving. It's also not bad to cast it before switching out of Cleric Stance since as there is no animation lock and you can gain some DPS before you jump in to healing. That being said, I wouldn't cast it and then just sit there waiting until you can cast something else, so use it situationally.
