Sadly, it most likely will not happen. This is to any content that deals with Free companies. What is the point of one being larger than 4-8 people if all this content is going to be limited to those numbers.

Airship Exploratory Missions are 2-24 people. I have no idea what you are talking about.

While these missions are not exactly what I had hoped they would be (I am still desperately looking for pop nm/hnm that require strategy and a claim system not unlike treasure maps) this content does look fun.

Two points about flex raiding in WoW people seem to be ignoring.

Firstly, Hard level versions of raiding in WoW still use a static number of players for groups (20) because flex makes balancing for the tight mechanics unfeasible.

Secondly, the flexable system is only used for raiding. So if FF14 used a WoW equivalent of Flex, it would only really apply to Alex normal mode, Crystal Tower and Void Ark which frankly don't need it.

Flex in WoW is primarily for Midcore raiding.

To be fair, while all the raids (mythic excluded) scale to the number of players. There are sweet spots where the amount of players is just right so it's slightly undertuned, and easier. People were being excluded from the 'dynamic' raids because the group didn't want to go over that number. I think the magic number at the end of MoP was 14 people
