They could even make it optional for those who prefer the current speed by working it as in in game buff.
You go to the npc, he puts a buff on you giving you a % boost based on how many jobs you have capped (I assume would work same as armory and only count battle jobs, whether or not crafting/gathering should have any bonus is a different discussion) that stacks with the armory boost.
Buff lasts until you turn it off, or logout. If you cap another job, click it off and go back to get a re-calculated one.
It's an extra step, but I don't know their code base, so it may be easier to work it this way, and this also makes it optional.
I so agree with this. I have 2 characters, my main with tank, melee dps, dol/doh, and alt with ranged dps and healers. It's already tedious leveling one character but leveling two or more is even harder. Please consider a buff you can buy with seals from the GC for personal use. For example, 20k seals to double exp in a dungeon one time. You can pair this with the duty roulette bonus.
