Actually, a friend of mine pointed out the same thing, but like mentioned earlier I chalked it up to a character creator limitation. The eye/hair/lip colour are all different; assuming you can write away the intense red eye shadow.
Are they related? Sure, probably. We know the bloodline of the original twelve knights proliferated heavily through Ishgard and Coerthas and we know the Brawny Knight was a bit ... amorous.
If Marcechamp IS the Brawny Knight (and such a thing could be possible!) that leaves a lot of questions. Like the founders of the High Houses should still be alive somewhere too.... but not in their own houses??
I just stopped playing just after they added the ki farming in that sewer for a BC. I always suspected that Teodor was to Dracula compared to the actual vampire mob, but those other two.. who knew.
Back to the topic, if nothing else I agree that's its just a recycled npc. If they are not part of the greater plot they are a MacGuffin. It's not like the main characters besides the Garlands that have something close to unique designs that can't be made in the player generator. I've already seen an Elderly Godbert in the Fisher level quests, and many other Godbert look-a-likes in the past months. If anyone remembers the rpg's that used 2d sprites. The entire game would be populated with clones. Only the main cast had a unique sprite that could be easily spotted in a crowed. Even now there's a lot of repainted re-skinned clones for the NPC population if you look close enough.
Well did you all remember that Haldrath, even if he was already dead, his body didnt descompose. Maybe thats a clue, maybe not.
