Does it still make sense when you're max level ? And don't forget that we start DRK at level 30 like we would have a natural base knowledge of it and we're not learning it from the beginning, and we're already able to shoot darkness out of our hands and create giant spikes on the floor. It doesn't make any sense.
Hard Slash looks awful, the first swing is super shitty, looks like a failed attempt to thrust the opponent, nothing more.
well the thing is we are a starting anew on a new Job so initially it would need to be at 30 but you kinda have to break it in 2, lore wise and game mec wise, game mec wise needs to be at 30 since it's a Job and it would need skills from LV1-30 so when we go into lower level synced content we'll have skills there, lore wise it's our 1st 2 handed sword so for the LV1 skill it would need to look like your 1st newbie skill while laters skills should make you look like you're getting used to swinging a sword.
I think hard slash is one of their BEST animations, and I'm glad I get to use it so often. It looks Savage. Hard slash, spinning slash, Power Slash, reprisal, scourge, syphon strike.... All look great.
I think delirium and souleater are the worst. They look so floaty, they don't feel impactful, but I understand they were going for a different feel than WAR.
I don't necessarily think any of the DRK animations are "bad". However, Just me on my own can think of much more awesome moves so I wonder why the development team couldn't.
Hard Slash is fine. It's Soulreaper that's absolutely terrible
