Which tank generates more hate/aggro?

If you have 2 tanks (WAR + PLD or WAR + DRK since no one uses DRK + PLD), you have the WAR open to build the biggest burst enmity lead, and then swap so that DRK/PLD never need to touch RoH/Power Slash.

In terms of going solo, it doesn't really matter - as long as you can maintain hate then all tanks are fine. PLD has a struggle in this regard in terms of DPS, however it being able to actually hold hate if it needs to isn't an issue.

That's just poor play. A good warrior will use Awareness with Raw Intuition when there are going to be mobs hitting them from anywhere but the front (Awareness nullifies Raw Intuition's crits), and will pop at least one cooldown to offset having no Defiance mitigation while in Deliverance.

Vengeance for example with Bloodbath will make WARs have great self healing for trash particularly, and a 30% damage reduction (which is higher than PLD's Shield Oath) for most of the time they're in Deliverance. Add on the huge self heals you get from Fel Cleaving or Decimating while Bloodbath is up, and you've got nice mitigation.

And the worst case scenario is that you have to do intensive healing for the short time the WAR is in Deliverance. It's not that bad as long as you're paying attention and the damage the WAR is dealing while in it for that short time is worth the very temporary healer dps trade off.

This is actually a really annoying thing in terms of tanking packs of mobs, because RI lasts 20s and Awareness (crossclassed) lasts only 15s. So whenever you pop it, you'll have 5s where you're able to be crit multiple times unless everything dies in 15s. I usually only use RI in small pulls where I can keep the mobs in front of me (think last wave of A2S with Jagd + Walker) or vs single target. It's just a really risky CD for packs, even with Awareness. Still, if you've got nothing else available, I suppose it's better than using nothing at all (only with Awareness, obv).

That's why you just right click Raw Intuition off when Awareness is about to fall off :)

But yeah, RI is still a bit risky to use on trash if you don't think you'll be able to right click it off when you need to. If anything you can just use it and immediately click it off I suppose just for the extra Abandon/Wrath stack :p

That's what I usually use it for, or when I'm 4/5 Wrath going into a boss to have the mitigation + Unchained without needing to Infuriate. I'd also click it off on trash, and I can typically do that in Fractal, but Neverreap... different story. D;

I think warrior still holds the crown on that then DRK and then paladin last.

That's because they aren't in their tanking stance and they aren't using their enmity combos.

Whichever one you play correctly.

Trying to hold aggro on a tank you can't play is like healing on a BLM.
