What does everyone think about those AST buffs?

My only little problem is with Celestial Opposition and we just get a basic cooldown reduction, and I don't know if they addressed the whole two ast in a party and overwriting each other's card buffs accidentally. But looking at this, doesn't seem like a total sad thing if I'm forced into Noct Stance, we'll know soon as the server is up I guess.

This is a whole lot of yes from me:). Looks like i will be able to raid on AST now and not SCH. Holy mother of......that change in Noct.A.Ben is awesome.........actually all the changes are.

Will have to wait and see what changes they "forgot" to mention, but it does look to be off to a promising start.

At first glance, it seems that durinal sect will still be far more efficient and have superior dps potential.

In the german translation Synastry reads, that the effect also is popping, when you heal the target of synastry. If that is true, that skill is OP.

I'll probably still heal as diurnal in pve and nocturnal in pvp unless I somehow master the art of how to noct better >.<

No more interests playing this job now... There will be too much Astro.

Time to get back to Damage dealer ! :eek:

If the buffs are strong enough to give me a reason to use Nocturnal Stance consistently, I swear to Hydaelyn I'll main AST.

Both still have superior MP management and AoE heals/range. WHM still excels at burst healing and has superior Regen options in Regen, Medica II, and Asylum. SCH still has superior mitigation and a fairy. Both still beat AST in DPS (especially SCH).

Since Astrologians got 90% (and some exciting unexpected ones) of their issues fixed, can we take a look at the level 60 skill for Scholar, Dissipation.... guys? ;c

I don't think we can consider them as "buffs" because a buff is when you give an empowerment and the ability becomes stronger.
Most of the changes are just a rebalancing. How AST should have been when it came out.
It's clear that the Dev Team fears that AST can become OP but the fact is that the other two healers are already OP.
Anyway, I really appreciated the changes of Sinastry that now looks like a "buff" and not only an utility, Disable and Collective Unconscious.
I would have appreciated something more for Celestial Opposition.
AST is not stronger then the other healers, but just acceptable. I'm sorry for not being enthusiast, but this job really disappointed me a lot and I just don't get why the dev team was so generous with Scholars and White Mages and so worried about AST being OP.
