I thought itd be cool if they introduced a savage primal fight level. Give all the old primals level 60 buffage, and have the armor sets drop from them, maybe with a token system of hey youve beaten the boss x times you can buy a piece since it hasnt dropped. and then maybe make it so theres a ridiculously rare drop that can be used to buy or craft an upgrade to the styleized primal armor to add elemental glow effects. wind around garuda armor pieces, flames for ifrit, floating stones for titan, flowing water for leviathan, lightning discharges for ramuh, snowfall for shiva, bismark could maybe have rain falling from its armor? ravanah would get a stronger glow to it, or maybe have some of his butterflies flying around the armor.

An idea could be that a ring that could be glamoured or put on to activate the effects of the armor. Say you have your normal ifrit armor, as soon as your equip the correct ring, the flames turn on. Would help alleviate the crowding of armor I think. Assuming this is something they could somehow work in or manage. As opposed to having the 4 primal + 4 effect primal gear (cus dunno about you i have a hard time throwing away old gear regardless) of the same type. Just having the 1 ring per primal.

Imo i rather have it made from primal demi materia and the body requiring an ex primal item drop ( i.e inferno horn ).
So that way
-desynthing will become relevant again
- raiders/ adventurer battle ppl have stuff to sell to crafters
( demi materia and primal drops )
- there will be a new supply and demand
- it will retain its uniqueness and rarity vs token turn in route
Honestly Having ANOTHER rehashed primal fight is probs a really stupid idea that would just be a waste of dev's time.

I think a savage version of the primals is a good idea and I was actually thinking of the same thing the other day. A lot of people put a lot of emphasis on learning the patterns of the fights (including extremes) and I don't think they should be that predictable. Armour drops or armour crafting materials from those fights would make good rewards.

Just digging up this old thread cause I thought, in light of the latest patch, it would be funny.
