Future Plans for Gardening Plots?

Well... MrHousing is gone... and thats the result!

I'm a miner and I stopped gardening/gathering soils because there's nothing new and exciting about it. I already know what crosses with what to get what. I miss that discovery process.

Mining isn't high enough.

Tried having our members gather it. They only do it when prodded and I got a grand total of 9 last time, three of which were thanalan.

Level your mining then, sell stuff on the way, have money for bird food seeds! The chocobos will be proud of you!

I also levelled carpenter and bot, so I could gather stuff to make my own stable brooms, sold stuff along the way, made money and it's very satisfying to take care of the beasties well.

So when you say, "No more rare items please!" I think I understand where you are coming from.

I'm sure others may disagree with me. That is just my experience with gardening for rare items, nothing else.

A gardening log would be nice along and some more definite cross-breeding results. I don't know what SEs recent deal is with making every other item ridiculously scarce.

I'd love to try out gardening, but there isn't any land plots left on like any server and I don't have a FC with privileges to try it. I have to admit I'm hugely disappointed by the housing system. It just favors the rich, it's exactly like the Los Angeles housing market basically only without bakersfield level housing plots in the middle of nowhere.

Can we get more housing plots? Like a skid alley level poor people plots?
