Something I want to say right now

I honestly expect to see potential egi-skins in the cash shop.

As for the cash shop itself, it's surprisingly light on cosmetic options compared to other games, I wouldn't be surprised if they expand it.

This thread is intended to let the devs and community reps know how I have come to view the company over the years I have been supporting them and the game. And the fact that the cash shop (among other things) has been killing my opinion of the company.

So for me, and with my opinion of the company having been droping for years, if the egis become a cash shop item in some form or fashion, wether it's after 5-6 egis are in game already and then more are just considered extras to be on the cash shop, I'm not ok with that. And my opinion of them will drop to being the lowest it can be (seeing us as only cash machines instead of fans and a community).

I don't want that to happen and I do have a sliver of hope, so all I can do is tell them how I personally feel about this in hopes that they can see from our (at least my) perspective.

Cosmetic items are important to me as a player and egis on the cash shop would be the lowest of the low because they know how much people want those and to charge for them is just unacceptable to me. Don't do it SE, listen to the fans before you make a decision and it's already too late to do anything about it (with more then just this).

FFXV did this better, they directly had a poll to ask us what we liked and disliked and I very happily gave my opinion. And when they released the video message, it was shown to all intended regions at the same time. That is great fan-dev communication, and it's funny that they are trying to do what ffxiv has done but ffxiv has lost that over the years and ffxv even did it better. The last time we had a players poll here was many many years ago.

This message is for the devs and the community reps, not for the community, but of course feel free to add more or disagree. If some would see this as disguising one issue with another then your entitled to believe what you will. But this is nothing more then me speaking my mind
