Indirectly. Collectivity = Fish Size in 0.1 Ilms per Collectability point x10 - so the biggest boost is to HQ which is from Perception but also proper usage of Patience or Patience II.

Which f these require the Folklore books, and which do not?

I have caught Dravanian Bass without the Folklore book, but what about the rest?

Neither of the thalik's require books to catch, I'm not sure about the other fish being mentioned.

you forgot Manasail at Tharl Oom Khash Fishing Hole at The Churning Mists which require Skyfishing Bait, can be straight catch or mooch :)

All reducible fish can be caught without folklore book.

Sorry for the long wait, I have updated the original post!

I would like to point out that Dravanian Bass is best caught with Brute Leech if the weather is not cloudy, and Goblin Jig is pretty terrible for them. You will only be able to catch Bass and Shrimp that mooch Bass in these conditions.

Also, Pteranodon is 41% straight catch with Giant Crane Fly. This is a better catch rate than any of the mooches, and if you don't reel on anything other than big tugs, you will catch a lot more of these in the window.
