I don't mash. I queue my skills, and the only way not to cast SS on proc is to move as you see proc appear on the screen which still interrupts the cast because there's a slight lag before it appears on the hotbar. Time wasted on that dancing around the problem wrecks the timing of off-GCD skills. If it's still not the problem for you, try watching out for procs while keeping an eye out for healers' MP bars (and soon for everyone's TP bars as well). And simultaneously watching out for EA to be off CD. For BL to suddenly proc. For healers suddenly moving out of 20 y radius. For AoE's.Quote:

also, implying situational awareness is hard, we cover the same roles .. dunno why its like that's hard or something..

Read Rice's posts above this for some detailed info on the proc they are mentioning. I think you are referring to the stance function, not the skills that are being impacted negatively by it. in this case, it's bloodletter, an oGCD ability that procs when a DoT crits. since your DoT ticks are not easily trackable (that is, when they tick), and it's outside of your control, It is nigh impossible to predict when this proc will occur, and when the CD on BL will reset.Quote:

Whereas the MCH is literally designed from the ground up to function with GB in mind (none of its procs rely on a mechanic outside of your control that is random), the MCH controls when and if it's procs occur, and on top of that it has special abilities designed to a) reduce the RNG factor, and b) bypass the limitations of the dreaded cast bar. Is the design perfect? I don't think so, but it's a far cry from taking a similar mechanic and dropping it on a class that was very much designed for a different mechanic. Imaging trying to attach wings to a car and get it to fly, and compare that to a plane that was designed from the ground up to fly. It's a drastic example, but it shows the concept. the bloodletter issue falls under similar principles. -

For 90% of players who played BRD? Yes. Minuet makes BL/SS procs clunky. Forces you to pay more attention to the hotbar than you should. Lowers situational awareness quite a bit, even when I'm used to mechanics.Quote:
