Yeah, no problem. I didn't mean they are both similar in that sense, but the Fire 3 will hit at the same time, so by Swiftcasting you're wasting valuable time during the off gcd of the Fire 3. Thanks for coming up with the rest of the optimal cooldown usage with that opener though.

Why not just make Thunderclouds oGCD ? You will have time to weave it in without losing AF then.

Still can't use it when casting, you would still get 0.5 seconds animation lock when weaved between casts - which would mean you can (not as bad as before) get punished still. Having it extend enochian is more intuitive.

I would rather have it be oGCD since that'll be a much bigger DPS gain. Worst comes you trade Fire IV for Fire + TC oGCD which should take up roughly the same amount of time.

great opener but keep in mind that you need 264 piety to use this one always - if you have less than 264 you'll not have enough mana to cast Ice 3

Make it off GCD and increase the duration of enochian by 2 seconds

That doesn't really solve it making you lose AF stacks though. You will have to use it instead of a Fire IV if Ley Lines isn't up and you got it early in your AF rotation.

You should always have 264+ because you'll have Piety buff. Unless you raid with double WHM then only Dunefolk Lalafell can do it. But you are correct.

By the way, I think for your Sharp > Thunder > Fire 3 > Enochian rotation, you might want to consider Sharp > Blizzard > Thunder > Fire 3 > Enochian just in case your Thunder doesn't fill your mana bar and you are stuck waiting that extra 1 second which means your Thundercloud proc falls off right as your Fire cast is finishing..

It's hard to judge the mana ticks. I hate this part of our rotation that we can't control but yes if you'd want a Thundercloud proc with slow mana tick, that'd be better.
