I love Heavensward

I don't know what has happened over st SE but I haven't had an experience like

I agree. Heavensward is by far the best expansion to ever grace an MMO. It's a masterpiece. I bet it gets slammed by critics and other sources. One source I saw gave it an 8/10, which was the same ARR got, yet it's much improved on so many levels. One source even gave a 5/10. Heavensward deserves far better scores and praise than that. I got emotional after finishing the story because it was just that well done. I had to take a moment to reflect on just the sheer amount of effort and detail that went into the expansion. It boggles the mind. I literally felt like I wanted to write a personal letter to Yoshi and team thanking them for the experience and giving praise. The voicing they added for almost everything, including bosses, really made things feel more epic. The better designed zones, which included so many details that just put other MMO zones to shame. Even the basic pre-60 gear was better designed. The music was incredible. The story writing, and even 'some' of the side quests, were all well written and much improved from ARR. Flying was done the right way to increase exploration, while also preventing people from skipping threats and exploration just to fly over everything from the start.

You guys are making me want to get to the end so badly but I don't get much gaming time like I use t. :(

:confused: how in Seven Hells can the END of the STORY be reached before even a week has passed since release???? The end of the story to date maybe, but the END period...riggghhht

I don't doubt lots of you mad rushing maniacs have got the the end of current story, but no way could the absolute END be here yet.

I'm pretty sure most of us know the story continues just the same as it did in the 2.X series. By 'finishing' or 'end' it means the 2.0 part. As for rushing, people that rushed it got to level 60 and finished story by the end of day 2 of early access, as for myself I did not rush and finished last night. I actually read ALL of the dialogue from every side quest and story quest, and did not skip anything. I even did the daily hunts and some sightseeing log.

Well, the credibility of most sites these days is more or less non-existant. Same people giving WoD top scores when it's actually a beyond terrible expansion, but truly good games get bad scores.

Some guy joined my FC and said he had to rate and write up a report about heavensward. He also said in order to do that he'd have to rush through all the content as fast as possible because the report was due in a week. He had just resubbed and was ilv115 or something and was struggling to get through basic quests. He quit the FC wthout saying a word after two days. Made me second guess reading those sort of things...

I honestly thought I wasn't going to make it. Life events were a bit much not allowing me to play much but I bit the bullet and finished off 2.0, finally. Figured I don't really buy games that much and my sub isn't up till November (just in time for Fallout 4). So why not just get it and keep pressing on. I'm glad I did, been having fun since. My only sadness comes looking at my Relic, only at the Light phase but it looks as if there will be no need to finish it off. At 52 the weapons available will surpass it, oh well. Have to just wait till the next Relic.
