FFXIVs bard should be something like this.

I played frets on fire, good free game. Loved it, kinda awkward on keyboard though.

Too bad Mabinogi has hackers and too many bugs right now :/

I still don't think archer is going to be bard. How are you going to play a flute bow, saxabow,or other instruments. Everyone is just focusing on the "bow harp". That's why I would love to see something like what Mabinogi implemented. They probably have a lot of work done or maybe none to bard. We don't know soo the sooner we get this to SE the better!~

Even if they made Bard a non combat class like entertainer was in swg with the music customization of mabinogi all with a FF twist, I will definitely need a change of underwear.

Adding a social, fun and entertaining element to the game that lets players create the atmosphere is pure genius.

Composition would be amazing. Gives more content. Also, some quests could be spruced up by playing some ancient eorzean tune in some areas to advance.

Also if we see more instrument variety than just a bow harp, maybe a bow drum, or bow flue, it would be pretty sick to execute ensemble scores.

EDIT2: Lets not stop there with just bard getting special treatment, what about other classes? How about parts where a monk needs to gather chi to punch through an object, or a dragon that grows along side your dragoon until hes mountable. Truth is we'll probably never see it, but it would be awesome if yoshi considered it for later content.

I would love to see what a bow drum would look like lol. Just need more people on this boat! This boat is not instant though ;)

Its like a life mmorpg, if you watch the few links I gave, gives you an idea how in-depth they are with the game. You can compose your own music, play with other people(make a band). Its amazing, but it is outdated(the ideas aren't, but the mechanics are.)

As "bard" is getting closer, I thought It might be okie to bump this again. Seeing we saw bard moggles(saw them do some type of music), I would still like to see if they can't make it where we can create are own songs. Even if they don't give any effects and would just be a inside town deal, would be great fun.
