from what I understand your client won't ask you to do the heavensward update unless you actually own the Heavensward expansion. I have the expansion got my client downloaded and updated my wife updated but only have a little over 4 gb download but not the heavensward expansion.

Edit: My assumption was correct I logged into my account on her computer and it asked for the heavensward to be installed.

oooooo. I had to use the code in my E-mail today, on top of early access code i already registered, and use on PS store to download the game

You might want to read upwards, had to take an extra step and then got HW on Launcher menu for PS4

Digital preorder doesn't come with a code, so there's nothing we can really do. There's a timer to unlock the HW add-on @ 12PM EST which might unlock the rest of the patch, but nobody really knows one way or the other for certain. Just an unfortunately confusing thing that wasn't explained. :'V

Yeah it's total bs >_< hopefully its just the patch is behind the timer
