Future Airship Content Ideas.

Seriously if they added custom linkshell airships, Konata's feet would never meet the ground ever again.

Except to chop down trees to make more furniture...

But then I'd just fly low over Black Shroud and take a swing at those really tall trees... maybe drop a bomb on a treant... maybe install a giant chainsaw to the front of the airship and go 'uber logging', or just throw the conjurer overboard shouting "use slow fall!" and ignoring that their reply was "wrong game!"

ah the chaos that would ensue...

Heart-shaped airships that go on a cruise around the prettier enviroments for those love-struck roleplayers! Like a love-boat ride at a carnival! (b'.')b

Oh, and on halloween the airships are decorated with pin-up skeletons and light-up pumpkin heads, and the lady that takes your ticket is dressed up like a black mage, and cave bats fly around the airship as it flies through the sky.
And a little mini-game where you can use a mounted cross-bow to shoot at the bats, and you gain achievements and rewards as your bat kill-count goes up.

The possibilities are simply endless!

It helps to have dreams and hope that one day you'll see those dreams played out in video games, it's always nice to think up something and then one day see it in a video game and think "I've always wanted to see that!" because it makes you grow more attached to the game to see yours, or other people's dreams come to life.

The case that airships have been given no specific roles yet other than being used as forms of transport opens up a world of possibilities for future development on them. Mid-air gunship battles, crafters/guild airships, mini-games, heck even having one designed for parties so linkshells can celebrate one of their members birthdays or engagement or even just passing their driving licence.

The more things the game gains that increases sociability between players, the more people want to play it so they can hang around with their friends and have a good time all taking part in something together. I believe airships could be one of those things that brings the community closer together.

I just want a decent length airship ride, long enough for me to have a round or two of Tripple Triad before we land!

A Gamblers Guild airship! A big deck with tables set out so people could plays TT whilst surrounded by the wonderous views of Eorzea's landscape from the air!
