Shadow Flare needs a new effect.

And here I thought this would be a thread about Shadowflare's lame spell effect. Anyways I still think Shadowflare could use a significant cast time reduction if not instant cast.

I really don't get it, why a bard can go planting his aoe without a cast time while we rely on a swiftcast cd. But that thought also applies to DoT's as well.

Oh yea I forgot Bio had 40 potency. Oh well, point stands.

To put it into perspective per cast, shadow flare does 10 more potency than Bio on a single target, when it hits multiple targets it does alot more than Bio over 1 cast

*this is providing it is allowed to run its full duration.

Shadowflare is fine as it is, would be nice if cast time was reduced a little but meh.

i would LOVE vulnerability up on SF!!!

also, aetherflow should be changed to 50% cooldown

enkindle should be on a 2 min cooldown

bane should affect unlimited targets in a SF radius area

if they made these changes smn=fixed

yay lets break SMN ^^ ..............


and make SCH shit on everything !

I've never understood this. How is using extra 0.5 seconds casting Shadow Flare for 250 potency worse than Ruin for 80? Seen a few people who are very adamant about this.

Only those inexperienced theory crafter spout that crap

Wanna know something interesting? Shadow flare is a physical aoe dot :3

I think because ruin is guaranteed damage while shadowflare you have to be sure the boss won't move.
