Relic in 3.0

Source please? Because unless something super recently was said, all other interviews/sources say 3.1 is when the new relic line is being started, not in 3.0

Again, on the benchmark video, on the AF2 video. Did anyone notice the weapons that the characters had ? Those are the new relic weapons.
3.1 will be the continuation of this new relics.

The new HW relics are coming out in 3.1. Unless you have super secret information that says otherwise.

My guess is that in 3.1 we could still come back and start these 2.0 relics from scratch and progress through to Zeta, then do the "special content". It's most likely going to be a flag-based system where having any one zeta gives access to that content, and you get to select which Zeta you want to use to start that content, like how we would pick which Zenith we want to turn into Atma.

They could simply be "base weapons", or what we used to call the "pre-relic". That would fit both your explanation and others' where the weapon technically isn't a relic, just the base weapons on which the relics are built, and in 3.1 they become the relic for the first time.

And there's also one possibility: that they are indeed the new relics, but we aren't getting them in 3.0 anyway. They just exist in the benchmark for us to drool over. ;-)
