I agree 100% with you when you say it is hard for non-roleplayers to understand. I respect you and every aspect of what you do with your time in game. That being said, I find it impossible to even try to "merge" with the world that I am in when I am playing a video game. I have heard people speak of immersion and such, but it is hard for me, personally to immerse myself into a "world" where a phone call, a knock at the door, or a simple glance away from my screen reminds me that the game is simply a game on a screen. A set of pixels that are fleeting, at best. I would rather get to know and talk to the PLAYERS that I am playing with and enjoying than some made up character in a made up world.Quote:
