When i look at the majority of the major forum dwellers I see a group of people who are passionate about a game that they want to see do well. Of course were not going to see eye to eye most of the time, Debates and discussions will get lively and in some cases arguments will pop up. Its to be expected, Hell you cant get ten people to agree on pizza toppings most of the time.

that's what i try to keep in mind when checking out whats being talked about.

The community here is no different in my experience than any other official forum community. Some people are jackasses. Some people complain to complain. Some people are very vocal about things they don't like even though they love the game to death and are called Trolls or told to GTFO and go back to WOW you 12 year old n00b because the hardcore fanboys can see no wrong.

Same as any other forum really.

Wow, you guys really surprised me. I was expecting a flood of angry posts, You guys are actually very polite.
Here's the data I've collected from this thread. 15 posters stated their opinion and where not rude. even though you disagreed with me, your actions spoke along with your words.
Oh, and one more thing. I know the in-game community is much better than the forums, I'm not trying to compare the two.(^_^)

My politeness was mostly simulated. I do really love the community though. It's fun to grab a pitchfork and join an angry mob, or gang up on the silly people who post suggestions directly copypastad from Dungeons and Dragon or Magic the Gathering. :) I am a very angry, discontent person but these forums bring me peace. In the form of ridicule.

Chocobits, If your politeness really was a fake, It was very good and funny. I'd add you if this forum had a friends list. Unless you really are mocking me. If you are, well, I can't befriend everyone.

Btw Near where i live, a gas-station called MotoMart just started selling these really good hot dogs rapped in cornbread. I've found that they rival Gardetto's and pineapple soda as a good snack to eat while playing FFXIV.

you can make it 15/15 were not rude i've calmed down :D. Just looking at some of the threads gives me a headache, then giftforce comes back after getting banned -.-.

I understand why there will always be complainer's. People do no like hnm , or world nm thanks to what it did to ffxi, they are entitled to their opinion. There are trolls you should not ignore though and complainers -.p.

Etienn, Ok it's now 15/15. I had a hunch that you just had a bad day. It reminds me of when i got mad and made my "Ethics and Manners" thread.=)
