Ifrits Blue flame.

After watching the CS again I would have to agree with the OP. While the CS is extremely amazing, the only questionable part is the blue flame that is textured in this particular scene. It is not the color in question, but rather the way that it is layered onto the character models after.

On a side note. The CS in FFXIV are well above the typical if not higher end CS's, I would imagine it was particularly difficult as it seems they do most of those parts from actual game play. Either way I still loved the CS and enjoyed watching it again.

Don't know if your joking or you being for real but let's start by stop calling people trolls people are talking about a issue. The point of the forums was to come up with idea and bring new idea on to the table if you can't do this then please leave the forums.

When i did the mission it did not look as bad as the youtube videos so i have no comment for the OP. It look like it was done bad but maybe that was the point of that type of flame.

The reason the blue flame looks so weirdly out of place is because, it's not real. Like, it's not real flame, your character is high after sniffing all those weeds the Amal'ja gave you. Heck, even Ifrit is not real over there! He's at home playing FFXXVIII Online with Garuda and even got a PK on Leviathan.

They either haven't finished alot of their spell effects or they have 2 entirely different standards they are holding themselves to....

Unless you consider the graphical standards of 2 gens ago comparatively awesome and still applicable today (lol?), then the flame graphics simply suck compared to anything current-gen.

(come to think of it, an identical spell effect can be found in the original WoW...)
