New GS weapons.

well, seeing as theirs only 1 and I say ONE book in the whole game that I would count as looking somewhat decent, im not surprised they didnt make any for GS. It's Ars Notoria... thats the only book I find nice looking.

The heart is the BLM weapon. I don't know if you got them confused or not - "broken Astrolabe" is what I'd use to describe the WHM staff (last one.)

I'm also rather sad that there isn't an axe or arcanist books. I don't know how many enemies there are that they could've taken them from, though. So hmm. I like the designs of some of the others though - I'd be all over the Heartless (BLM), PLD (when I eventually get it to 50), and the MNK (never getting that to 50) weapons if I didn't have to blow 10k on each. Maybe if I win the Jumbo Cactpot, but no. xD The rest are...meh. Especially the bow.

I can't find the Monk weapon :/
Also, I don't have a T7 screenshot of the Ninja's knifes from the Lamia Deathdancer, but it's definitly from them.

The prizes in the Gold Saucer were added focusing on the weapons from monsters, since there was a particularly high demand to be able to equip them on playable characters.

A lot of the axes were designed for specific monster animations, and they would need many changes to the current design and modelling compared to other types of weapons, so they weren't added this time around.

There aren't actually monsters that equip books yet, and since we would have had to design something completely new, they weren't added this time either.

We'll try to come up with some Gold Saucer-esque designs (but if you have any good ideas we'd definitely like to use them for reference so please let us know!).

When thinking of new prizes for future patches we intend to add both axes and books, so please hang tight for now!

I think the demand for Gigas Knuckles (Or Invisible Knuckles) is much higher since they actually fit to your fists like a glove.
