Along with Sleipnir's Emote, may we please have the option to Dye his Mane?

The ability to dye chocobo companions was originally included as a special feature just for our fine feathered friends. If we were to introduce the ability to dye mounts, it would take significant dev. focus away from other tasks at the moment.

With the release of Heavensward approaching, the development team has many tasks that take top priority, but we’ll make sure to use this idea for future discussions.

the way you are meant to see odin is a single entity slepnir technically dosnt exist, the whole being horse and all is odin. thats where it gets to a fuzzy grey line.

Everything is a matter of subjective opinion man, ADS mount in the cash shop would had looked more "legitimate" in a way, since ADS got discarded as a regular monster that you can find in a lot of places since turn2. (Even though, I prefer to see it coming from achievements, even if it come from PVP achievements)
But there is only 1 Odin at a time, same for Sleipnir, we are talking about an Elder Primal and its mount :p not a trash mob from many other, but again if you want to see "fuzzy grey line" there... Let's ride Twintania, Nael, Bahamut or Hildibrand(lol) and make them buyable from cash shop! Who care right? They are all coming from side quests or side storyline of the game.

You and and me will never agree on that point though, while you seems to be a "pro-cashshoper", I'm totally against it and nothing will change this.
Also, contents and projects are planned months and sometimes years before their releases, just waiting somewhere in a folder to get back to "real life", we are not talking about some amateurs who works from their parents cellar -.-; It's Square Enix, they are professionals.
If you still believe that Sleipnir wasn't meant to be an important "best-seller" in the cashshop since long and that they will "never ever" design any kind of Odin trial in the future... Let's not continue arguing then.

1) i am not pro-cashshopper i dislike cashshops strongly
2) yoshi-p admitted himself when asked at fanfest, the odin trail was only made due to fan request to fight the FATE mob in a single trial.
3) Slepnir was chosen for the cash shop due to his side story and the fact he was requested. this was due to them unsure how meny odin mantles would seem enough, as well as an intisive to the shop. yes they wanted a reason to go to the shop and they didn't know how to implement slepnir, its 2 birds one stone
and finally 4) to compare "amatures who work in there parents celler" to a triple A company in 2015? ha thats kinda funny since companies like Ubisoft EA and 737 indastries three major triple a gaming companies have created broken work or work that dons even seem to be coherant while some indie games have more quality to them.
company or not they are made to basic mistakes just like an indie game and sometimes ideas are created spontaniously with requests and then having to work around it.
remember it was not just the EU or US who just requested slepnir it was a heavy request from the DE FR and JP players as well. it was the single most requested mount in the game.

just because a company is just that, a company, dose not mean they are perfect in there planning. everyone makes simple mistakes, and since they listen to there fans they will come across them more frequently.

but now i am done with this argument, it is clear when someone only wishes to see perfection with a company, do some game design courses and study, i spent nearly 7 years in game design, and i can see the fact they messed up with there timings.

Wasn't the cash shop announced at Fanfest ? Where the odin trial was already playable ? And where they kept saying that it would be added to the game eventually? So from what i can see Slepnir was a cash grab and could have easily been added as a drop to the trial.

Eight legs. Sleipnir had eight legs. Mythology-wise, that is.
I already threw a tantrum back when FFVI was still called FFIII here in the west and had to be played with an NTSC-converter and I noticed they'd removed two of his legs. (I grew up with Norse mythology, so... yeah ^^; )
Now, when they've removed another pair of legs off of him... No. I can't think of it as Sleipnir. It's just a black horse with back problems. And with a very tiny head. (Compare: normal horse profile vs shire horse profile vs 'Sleipnir' profile ;_; )

I'd just like to be able to ride this mount with my hands on some reins rather than oddly crossed against my chest. I completely regret the mount purchase because of that. It looks ridiculous.

The short, stumpy horse legs aren't helping either. You've got its belly almost dragging on the ground.
