I think that it only goes to one character on the account, right? Perhaps they want it for an alternate character?

I'm gutted I didn't win either contest aswell, but people knew the prize when they entered so they willingly risked winning two sets. I know a few people have said they would have liked to revoke their entry as they won both, but as I said, they knew from the onset that it was a possibility...
It's crappy that it was the same prize for both, especially with such close deadlines... but *shrug* all we can do is hope the organisers learn from this.
((also, there were only 96 EU winners for some reason...))
it only gose to the account you enter as(so you have to spesify on your entry for alts) or set your fourm avatar as that character.
fun thing about that, if the item is unique and untradeable like theres are, then the only way they can even acquire them is to ditch it or have a retainer wear it and since your retainer wearing it would be a waste of Ilvls and having it in the retainers inventory would be a waste of a slot (since they won't go in the armoire) its basically a lost item. that wouldn't benefit them, since there is 10 is people wholost out and 20 plus items that is technically lost it dose seem a bit unfair to have those 10 people lose out, if the prize was different then the 100 would of won and gained a prize as they have won, instead 20 odd people have won and gained nothing while others lose out.
Spiroth, I believe you were disqualified because you did not enter during the entry submission period.

Guess they did not actually receive 100 valid entries.
If you check the rules topic it says:
I'm guessing the "up to 100" means that they won't necessarily choose 100 winners, maybe it's just based on whether they like the shot for whatever reason. I do still support this topic for finding a way around this though. Maybe next year have different prizes for Starlight and Heavensward. Or like I said previously have the judges actually check if the winners have already won the prize prior to Heavensward.Quote:
The Community Team will be selecting up to 100 entries and awarding those players with the new bluebird earring.
I wasn't confident my Starlight pic would win, that is why I entered both. Normally when a contest has the same prize as an older one I do not enter it if I have won already.
