An idea for Tri-Disastor

Have you guys ever hear of this strange cast, called Blizzard II? it basicaly does the same as Tri-Desaster but: it faster (2 sec cast), has a higher Potency (50 instead of 30) and cost just about half the MP.

ok, it also binds just about half as long but i've never had a situation where i prefered Tri-Desaster over Blizzard II (wich i can cross from the THM)

This isnt about damage. This is about making Tri-Disaster an interesting spell. Because as of right now, its very boring.

In the old days when Wanderer's Palace was the "go to" dungeon to farm for your weekly tomes in some of the parties I got in if we didn't have a Black Mage, but we had a Summoner we would get the Summoner to use Tri-disaster to bind the mobs and lock them out of the boss fights and generally skip them. I also used it once to bind EM Garuda's feathers so the Bard or Black Mage could AoE them down. So it might not be an every fight spell, but it can have it's uses. Regardless I do think it's time for change so maybe it could be an AoE based on the Egi you have out, so say Titan the move could have something to resemble him. Kinda of like enkindle, but less damaging and on a faster cooldown.

FYI: Quick cast + Tri -Disaster + Titan's or Ifriti's Spured Enkindle = Mass Overkill. Throw in a hard cast Shadow Flare to clean up any surviors.
Tri -disater isnt so bad......when used smartly. FYI: Tri Diaster can stop the Slime Boss in WP in he's tracks.

Few points,

Those spells arent for dmg if we're honest, utility wise Tri disaster > Bliz 2

- You do not have to be in the area for you to bind.
- Doenst affect your DPS like it would a BLM; lost of stacks
- If targets a mob not a specific place, so bearing in mind you should only need to bind if the tank hasn't gotten aggro; they will move in a grp so they should all still be hit.
- Longer bind
- Better graphics
- No chance of being hit when using it
- For SMNs in pvp it can help with making people blow off purify.
- 0.5s .......lol. Yes you can cast it slightly faster from fire but at the expense of DPS and that is also situation dependent.
