About the Emperor's new gear

I just want make shields invisible >_> Because... They are all ugly!

No, if PGL/MNKs can glamour their weapons to be invisible, so should every other class, regardless of how much sense it makes.

I also want to be able to bake acorn cookies in chestpieces with final-bossish looking shoulders of doom.

Yeah, I couldn't find anyone by that description selling the Emperor's New Gear.

The Lala in question is right beside where the mender and merchant are.

Not gonna lie I'm totally up for The Emperor's New Weapons. Especially for Monk - a lot of the glove pieces look like weapons by themselves to be honest.

Empreror's new shoes are more visible on my character than skin color dyed leather sandals. It's funny that they're not invisible like the other emperor items (they're light gray sandals).

I'm not 100% certain, but I think you have to complete A self-improving man and Submission impossible(which requires 1 level 50 crafter) from wiscard before the lalafel next to him will sell to you

If that's the case, then it's not worth it. I'm too disorganized to attempt crafting.

I can see the shield being something, but weapons, no... not really. There are some serious WTF things that will arise. Dragoon doing thrusts? LOL. Bards might as well become the Mime class, firing with an invisible bow? Warrior and Paladins will look ridiculous. About the only classes that would maybe still look okay are the Monks and Ninjas.

Also, the "Well if you can hide the shield, then you should be able to hide the weapon or else it isn't fair to others" line is pointless. 1. The Shield isn't a weapon. (Even skills based off shield's animation actually just take into account weapon damage) 2. The shield doesn't go into the weapon slot. 3. Shields can already be removed without causing issues except for stats, weapons can not be removed, only replaced with another weapon. Hence, you MUST ALWAYS have a weapon equipped to play on that class, but you don't HAVE to have a shield equipped. This fact will make coding for it much easier to implement as opposed to a weapon. If there is anything SE likes more, it's something easy to do.

Why don't we get the Emperor's New Body and have everyone invisible to hide all the people with horrible fashion sense?
