An Easier way to report Gil Sellers/RMT!?

Would a right click report work? Absolutely!
Would it be fairly easy for them to program into the system? It would take some work but definitely doable.
Is the GM department ready for the tsunami of reports? Not a chance.

The amount of human resources required to read all of of these reports and take action upon them is probably the reason why they do not have a right click report at this time.

It's never going to happen.

Just give us three options.

1. Give us the ability to Turn on/off friends invites.
2. A new Option for private messaging that only Friends, Linkshell and free company members can use.
3. Give us invisible status from FFXI this way they can't send party invites just in case they get the idea.

This way we can just Click off /Tells in general and never see one of those RMT ever again.

Many thanks for your informative reply. I would like to see SE put a bounty, of some kind, on spambots, gathering bots, and battle bots. Yes, i'm informed by your reply. I just want to get a bounty idea added to the long list of suggestions toward mitigating the RMT threat. I do believe it would be laudable to add an incentive award program for gamemasters (over and beyond their hourly wages), to reward those gamemasters who excel in reducing the RMT threat.

While searching for RMT related information, I stumbled upon a very large website dedicated toward the hiring of spambot owners and operators. They list the top 10 MMO games to send their "thousands" of spammers to, and FFXIV is their top recommendation. Specifically they tell their people to spam FFXIV first, to make the most real money.
