A little piece of advice for the ones idealizing the Japanese internet behavioir. Spend a few hours on 2chan.

I'm more reading thread titles. And I've been to 2chan. I also played with alot of jp players in ffxi. Alot of them were nice to me because I was nice to them.

Just by reading thread titles you can tell which are rants and which are dicussions.

Also 99% of our forums are rants, useless debates and crying over stuff.

No one is making detailed calm suggestions on fixes. Offering detailed suggestions on what you guys like and enjoy. Also mixed with over spectulation leading to unneeded disappointment.
Like the quests. Soon the battle fixes and the mid- high lvl content.

Simple put no one here will be happy.

I'm more angry here then anyone can fathom about this game. Yet I don't post mindless bs :)

I bought the game my pc broke now I got to wait till you "players" are happy. Which from what I seen will never happen. So chances are ima miss out on a game I bought. I wasted $80 on a coaster.

Theres more Japanese Players then English makes this really obvious.

Oh there are quite a few mindless rants (or the nearest you can get to mindless rants in japanese). And if you know 2chan, you know that it's the very home of mindless rants on the net :D

Sounds to me like we aren't so different after all. We all complain about the same sort of stuff; enviroment, battle, party, jump lol. Though I am surprise about the PKing. Not even that big of topic on ENG.

PKing (non-consensual FFA) is actually a very popular feature in Korean/asian (non-japanese) games (Rohan, Lineage, Sikroad and so forth), and those are quite popular in Japan.
