Ninja animation changes

I have no back pains and enjoy running the way I do :)

I just want my XI animations back....

I don't know if you played many ninja games. But it's common ninjas blowing fire even before naruto exists. And the ninja gear still awesome and looks like a real shonobi. Also no ones on naruto looks like a ninja.

I'm not too much of a fan of it - I like to think that if people can tell you're a ninja, you're ninja-ing wrong.

But disguises don't make for very good AFs, I guess.

I've actually read into this while doing research on this. I may be mistaken on this but I believe that the real outfit was more of to blend in and it wouldn't make sense for a ninja to wear the standard ninja outfit from folklore. In the Sengoku/Edo period neither of which had the standard "ninja outfit" but in the Edo period they did have the typical "thief" mask which was the cloth tied around their heads covered their cheeks and tied under the chin.

To say that Naruto doesn't look like a real ninja well I doubt they wanted to go with the traditional look of them because that wouldn't really suit war.

Also some of the armor like what was worn by Madara was actually closer to what they wore, but it's supposed to take place more in the modern age so they went with a more modern military look than actual ninja.

I remember when they released Rogue and Ninja. And they actually made it seem like we were getting 2 jobs back then. So disappointing that Thief will never be in this game. Back then I really wanted to play Thief, so sad how it turned out lol. I have this dislike for Ninja just because of that whole situation back then. The job is fine though, but in my eyes, Ninja murdered any chance at playing Thief. :<

Additional query: What the hell are even "classes" now?! Besides one of the relics of the pasts bad ideas. Salty, salty, salt salt.

I think the Ninja job in itself is fine, granted it has been awhile since I touched it, but I would have loved a more Thief background myself, whatever that may have been compared to Ninja at this point.

I do miss the unique racial animations of FFXI for combat, but, alas, this isn't that game!

Anyway, not deviating too much, I still would like the ability to shut off the ninja run animation similar to how MCH get to make Gauss Barrel disappear! :P

Add another to missing the idea of being Thief. On track with the topic though, I'd use it for sure. My Miqo'te works fine with the NIN animations, but my Elezen just looks like they are trying too hard.

Yes, I know! My wife plays between Roe/Elezen and it just looks pretty darn silly with the taller bigger races! Please allow us to toggle this movement mode :(

The real criminal in animations, is the lost of Dancing Edge! I rather get rid of Armor Crush's animation and bring back Dancing Edge!
