That's actually true. Which means anyone who doesn't manage to get one is up that brown creek without a paddle.

I'm just going to say, on the server I'm on, we had small plots available before 2.38, and we still had more than 50% of plots still unpurchased as of sunday.
And wow, is that a terrible way to run a game. Personal housing needs a redesign from the ground up, not a cash shop to cover the costs of more instanced servers that will equate to more overhead and overall cost. This operation is just not being professionally run if they can't cover the dev costs with the subscription that we pay monthly. Expect that cost to rise or even more content to be "offered" in the cash shop. And when I say "offered", I mean Please Look Forward to being Strongly Encouraged to purchase items because they will be very important to the game.
After all, we need to buy more servers, right?
Weren't there supposed to be new housing areas other than the 3 we have (adding additional wards). I thought there were two completely new areas scheduled. Not sure where I got that idea.
Yeah no housing for me again, only for the rich and famous.....
I logged on 2 hrs after server went live and purchased a small plot in Lavender Beds. I am also on Balmung and saw plenty of small plots still available after my purchase.
The prices are exactly the same as in 2.38. On Balmung, the small plots start between 4 and 5 million gil, depending on the grade of the house.
Just checked again on Balmung. 8:05 AM EST, 4 hours after patch, 2 small houses left in all of the Lavender Beds, all wards. I think you must be confusing some plot sizes as you run by. Congratulations on the house, though.
